I had a hard time deciding between a new Husaberg or a new Beta. But I found this 2008 Beta 450RS on Craigslist for $5800. Well That seemed a lot better than 10k for the 'Berg, or 9k for a new Beta. Soooo, the Beta won! Actually got it for $5500. Looks like new. Has about 950 miles of mostly pavement. The guy even took off the stock Pirrelis and put on Conti TwinDuros so it would be better on the street.

Man, very cool. Those Betas are nice bikes. Any issues getting parts for them?

I don't think there should be. It has a KTM engine, and from what I have read on forums other parts are never more than a few days out when ordering from dealers. The Beta company has lots of stuff available for the bike also, like a 3.2 gal IMS tank, GPR steering stabilizers and so on.

No need to be constantly looking over your shoulder; it's not like those black rims would look good on my GasGas or anything.

Nice find.

Rounds out your collection quite nicely. I for one would like to see a shot pf your line up.

Nice! Looks like a sweet machine, those motors are highly prized.

Can't wait to see it out on the trails

I'm reporting this to the moderators-- definitely BIKE ProN!!! Those Beta's are a very appealing alternative to the KTMs. Trials manufacturers know how to make a bike that turns. And street legal.
