I am new here. I used to have 2 dual sports, but the state of WA took away my plate on my KDX. Been debating replacing the KDX with something else, but I like the bike too much. Current stable consists of:

1987 Husqvarna 430XC
1998 Kawasaki KDX 200
2006 KTM 950 Adventure

I ride. I play. I get lost. I crash. But I have fun.

Yes. I actually have 2 of them. One runs great and I bought the other one bought for parts (PO pulled the engine and dropped it onto a concrete floor). My running Monza has been the most reliable and just plain fun car to drive that I have ever owned.

Wow. I spent some good times in a 75 Monza as my best buddy in High School had one. Don't see them around much anymore. Nice.

Nope, I don't know any Tom's. I don't even know anybody else on a KDX anymore. I had a friend named Greg that had an older 92, but he sold it and went Orange.

I keep my eyes out for Monza's in my area. As of now, I am only aware of one other one besides mine. Never seen it move and I would buy it if I had the money and the space to park it. I have not seen another one on the road besides mine since I moved away from Spokane. I only saw one other Monza in my 2 years living in Spokane.

It is amazing how much attention a running Monza can draw. I took my car in to get a new windshield once. The glass shop was flabergasted. They had more people come in to make an offer on the Monza that day then they did to buy anything from them. And my car needs a lot of paint and some body work.

Back to bikes. I don't get out and ride dirt bikes a whole lot anymore. Most of my riding friends have moved away. I ride more street and gravel/dirt roads now. I do pack up and run out to Juniper or Moses Lake sometimes. Been a number of years since I was out at Mattawa. Been to the 7-mile OHV area a couple of times. There are a couple of places that I hit up in my area every now and again. There are a lot of places that I would love to go to, but time and money can be a problem. There are a lot of places that I do not know about.

I went down hard on the KDX back in July. Tore off some plastics. Worse damage was that I broke the inner clutch cover. Opps. Still not sure how I managed that one. Nothing serious, just ripped off the top of the clutch mount/bracket on the case.
